Spring has arrived and summer isn't far behind
Which means our reunion is almost here! Please make plans to be with us this year! Abilene, Texas is again our meeting place for family, food and fun! It's at our traditional time, the second Sunday in June PLUS the Saturday before. June 11-12, 2011 Saturday, June 11th, we'll be at: Southern Hills Church of Christ Gym, kitchen, and playground (not fellowship hall where we were last year) 3666 Buffalo Gap Rd. 3:00- 8:30 p.m. Serving a meal with all the fixings(All provided) Bring games, smiles,Amonett/Irwin memories and laughter ------------- Sunday, June 12th, we'll be at: Tye Community Center Tye, Texas (just outside Abilene) (See directions on map page) 10:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Reunion funds will be used to provide the meat for our lunch. SO please bring a vegetable and a salad(green,fruit or jello) OR Vegetable and dessert OR salad and dessert. ***Bread & drinks will be provided also! Stoves/Ovens available as well as a refrigerator. *Please bring items for our annual auction. Also be ready to buy as this is part of the fundraiser for the next reunion! We have a lot of fun with this! Even the kids enjoy it! *We will also "pass the hat" for donations to help with the growing cost of doing the reunion. *Wear your "Amonett Reunion" t-shirts if you have one! Some will still be available for purchase at the reunion. *Talent anyone?! If you have a talent you want to show-off to our family, let us know so we can plan to introduce you on Sunday afternoon. .
